Sager np8258 reaching 86C during CSGO

Hi,

I just had my Sager np8258 get thermal paste reapplied+cleaned from Sager itself less than 3 weeks ago. Im also using a 17" laptop cooler and an Air conditioned room.

yet, still, during a not intensive game such as csgo, im reaching 86C. what am i supposed to do about this?

Dell XPS Battery Discrepancy Question

I was looking at the Dell XPS 15 listings on dell, and I noticed that the $1399.99 version (i7, 8gb Ram, 256ssd, non touch FHD) had only a 56 WHr battery while all of the other laptops with complete SSDs have the 84WHr battery. Is this a typo, as many other parts of listings on Dell are, or is it true that this model only has a 56WHr batttery? I thought that the reason some of the XPS had smaller batteries (56WHr) was because they had to fit the larger HDD. It would make no sense to not have...

But I couldn't care less. Don't get the wrong idea, I would buy a Fujitsu laptop made in Japan in a heartbeat if I had the cash.

The thing that's really killing off the laptop segment for me is Intel and their corporate greed. Soon, you pretty much won't be able to buy a laptop that doesn't emit hazardous 60Ghz from the WiGig units (as if 5.0GHz isn't already dangerous enough!) You can't just buy the laptop and throw out the WiGig card b/c it will be embedded into the CPU.

Lavie z 360 lcd replacement

Hello All.
Unfortunately my lavie screen cracked one morning when i opened the lid, I have no clue how this happened, and lenovo refuses to replace the lcd, even if I am still under warranty.

The real problem is that I can't find anywhere the lcd replacement, I also tried aliexpress and search for the equivalent NEC model but I can't find anything. The lenovo part number seems to be 5RPWW00010 but that doesn't come up anywhere.

Does anybody have an idea where I can get this part?

Dying 13 R2 Left Fan

Sooo today I decided to do a SCIENTIFIC test xD I always thought my left fan was spinning less than my right. So I went to my fan control HWinfo and set both to max speed (6700 rpm) and the right fan was blowing the piece of paper around so much while the left hardly moved it.

Should I ask for them to send me a replacement fan or ask for a tech to come and replace it for me? I don't want any long term damage done. Is taking the laptop apart fairly easy?

Hey people,

I'm considering updating my HP from 4 GB to 8GB. Now I've been told there's only one slot, but I'm unsure what type of memory should I buy and from which manufacturer?

Crucial's website recommends this item (DDR3L-1600 PC3L-12800 SODIMM) My onboard diagnostics say I have 4GB of 1600 MHz memory.

Are Crucials okay or should I look for something else?

PCH heatsink mod alienware 15

Ok i made a heatsink for the PCH ... i was getting like 80°C on pch so.... i wanted to reduce temps and see if the power limit throttling is caused by heat... i bought the aluminum piece on a sound repair shop ... i dont know how to call it XD my english is not perfect as you can see lol ... i used a little piece of thermal pad 0,5mm tickness and 6W/mk ... is not the best, but make a good job. I took advantage of the disassembly and cleaned everithyng @VICKYGAMEBOY
