Mac or PC - the age old question

Have done the questionnaire. This will be a family laptop. Kids are slowly learning about computers (oldest is 7). Wife computer illiterate and any time she touches my current laptop it breaks. Main uses are internet, word and photos. Like gaming which is a guilty pleasure and so don't tend to play (last game was GTA4, love it, but don't have the time!).
