My almost 5 year old Dell Studio 1557 has a fried motherboard, so I need to get a new laptop. Most things can be done on my phone now, but need something for occasional use. Probably will not do any gaming, but will use mostly for web surfing, photo editing, and MS Office applications.
I like the laptop/tablet combinations (e.g. surface pro, thinkpad yoga), but don't *need* that - and have no idea how well made they are
