If like me you have upgraded to Windows 8, opened up system properties and noticed that the Manufacturer, model and logo are gone, fear not.
Use this guide to replace them :)
How to Add OEM Logo and Information to the System Information Applet in Windows 7 and Vista - The Winhelponline Blog
It say Windows 7 but i have tried it on Windows 8 and it works fine.
1. Click search, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
2. Navigate to the following location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ OEMInformation
If the OEMInformation key is missing, you’ll need to create one manually.
3.Right Click on OEMinformation and Create string values (REG_SZ) and add matching data, as per the table below:
Value name Data Value type
Logo* REG_SZ
Manufacturer REG_SZ
Model REG_SZ
SupportHours REG_SZ
SupportPhone REG_SZ
SupportURL REG_SZ
4. Exit Registry Editor.
* Note: The logo should be a BMP file with the dimension of 120×120. Logos larger than 120×120 pixels are scaled to 120×120.
