Hi all.
So I currently have my AW18 and I normally hook it up to one of these for usage at home which is 95% of the time:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/MX279H-Wides...eywords=mx279h
I have the chance to get the monitor below at £100 basically brand new
Asus MX239H 23" IPS HD LED-backlit LCD Monitor (80000000:1, 250 cd/m2, 1920 x 1080, 5ms, DVI/HDMI/VGA): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
I was wonder what your guys opinions were regarding gaming at 1080p on certain monitor sizes. I can tell my 18.4 inch laptop is sharper than the 27" when it comes to text. Do you think dropping down to a 23" monitor will make a difference? Will it help me when gaming or anything else making worth the drop?
I don't wish to go to 1440p 27" on my laptop as I want to game at ultra settings on the majority of times with the system I have i'd have visual fidelity then lower my settings.
information that might help: I sit roughly a 1.5/2foot from the screen it is dead centre with my eyelevel thanks to some useful books.
Anyway what's your thought guys?
(Should say IPS in the title)
