Finally decided to splurge for an Alienware 17, and called Dell because I heard so much about the prices they can give you there.
My system:
Base Alienware 17: 14.000 DKK ($2500)
+GTX 880m: 3000 DKK ($550)
+1080p 60hz screen: 1000 DKK ($180)
+ Vindicator 17" Back Pack: 1000 DKK ($180)
So that´s 19.000 DKK, or $3400.
It took a couple of days of calling the same guy over and over, because he had to go check with his supervisors each time he wanted to give me an offer.
One day he called me and told me it wasn´t gonna get any better than this.
He could sell it to me for 14.000 which turns out to be $2500 dollars - a cool $900 saved, or almost 30%.
