So i'm in a bind right now ![:eek:]( "Eek! :eek:")
. I had to swap out my old keyboard on my Dell XPS l701x. Everything went fine but for the back light connector was broken / lost in the process. Dell doesn't sell the part and i can't seem to find anyway to put the ribbon onto the motherboard. Dell offered to replace the logic board and do that but i really don't see the point in that if i don't have to do it.
I'm hoping maybe someone can help me out and keep me from telling dell to come out and replace...
