Hello Alienware users. I created this extension from Open Hardware Monitor that let you monitor your computer from your Android device (tablet and or phone). Right now is in Alpha stage, so it could:
I'm publishing this to the Alienware family, because I need some testers so that I can fix the issues and exit Alpha stage. So if you are interested in the program, keep reading.
What to expect?
Full system information available in the screen of your device.
Data logging to a .xsl file.
2 UI, list UI and graph UI.
What is the advantage of using this instead of any other program?
This extension doesn't do ANY calculation, it literally send the data to your device and then your device makes all the calculations.
How does this works?
Just install the app in your device and open it,.
Open the program in your PC > click file > click connect > write your device IP address (It will be shown in your device screen)
Once it says that the connection was successful open the app settings and click data selection. Now select all the info that you want to see in your device. Now go back to the main page and enjoy.
Tools needed:
Both, your PC and your Android device, needs to be connected to the same WiFi router.
How to use data logging?
Open the app settings > enable the Logging check box > go back to the main page > stress, bench, game, etc. with your pc > open app settings > disable logging. Now you should have a .xsl file in the root of your sdcard containing all the information.
Known bugs
The program, PC, will stop working if you don't click the disconnect button. FIX: Open the program location folder and delete the file: connected
So far Mr. Fox phone is creating empty .xls files, 0kb, and corrupted, can't be opened. FIX: Haven't found one yet :(
I will add pictures when I have at least 5 posts saying that the logging is working. Please include your device information like the following, so I can include it to the list:
