Has anyone tried this product for triple (or even more) monitor display on either the M18x or new M18?

Since I will get an egift card soon from Dell and am thinking of what to buy, another monitor came up as a possibility since there's not much else I really want and I don't like the look of the Vindicator backpack.
The problem is that monitors which support 1920x1200 AND DISPLAY 1.2 which can do displayport passthrough (input/output) like the Dell u2413 is much more expensive ($599 list) than say the u2412 ($349 list). Usually, the u2412 can be had for < $300 on sale...especially for people who don't care about 98% Adobe RGB...It'd be nice if Dell came out with the u2414 which is like the 2412, but has display port 1.2 (wishful thinking on my part).
There have been triple monitor hubs before like the Matrox triplehead2go, but that looks more like 1920x1080 and is also another piece of hardware...
The website and some info I found so far says they are looking or working for US distribution. Its on sale by some companies on Amazon UK currently for about $168.10:

Of course, at $300 monitor + $168 (mst hub), maybe I should just get the Dell u2413 on sale for around $450 w/coupon...(or wait for a better sale)...course, I would then have to buy another $450 monitor vs. $300 after that...
