Hello all!
Brand new member to the board, and my first post! Hope a couple of you will help me out here ;) I have a pretty simple question. I have been out of the gaming community for years and years, and with the upcoming release of Rome: Total War 2 and several others, I decided to re-enter the market. I customized a brand new AW 17 inch laptop. I copy/pasted the specs from the review page after customizing it and will show them to you here. My question: Is $2,900 too much for this machine? I believe it is. I went to Ibuypower and several other gaming laptop companies and customized builds very similar to this and there were all almost an entire thousand dollars cheaper. What do you all think this kind of build should get dollar wise? I do plan on calling Dell and doing some very serious haggling, as I hope to get the price down to ~$2,300-2,400.
If theres any other information you need to know about the build, let me know and I will find out the information if I can.
Also wondering if, with this graphics card, will I be able to run any video games from my laptop onto my 40 inch TV? Like I said, I've been out of the gaming market for so long that I have a lot of catching up to do!
