Looking for an expert in laptop LCD screens here !

Hello guys
I need somebody who is expert in laptop LCD panels who knows what all parameters types of connectors ..
I want to make one experiment and if that will work I will buy that laptop and will do it
What I want to do is to swap laptop screens ...
I was looking on lcd screen sites and I have found one screen that it could be changed in one laptop
Current laptop has poor TN screen and want to know If I will be able to replace it with IPS
